Alexis Crosby is a Case Western Reserve University alumnus. She grew up in Cleveland鈥檚 Glenville neighborhood where her great-grandfather relocated his family from Mississippi.
She recalls growing up in a community surrounded by generations of friends and family.
Until she was a student at Case, she had not heard of the Glenville shootout and subsequent unrest.
She says, 鈥淢y hope for Glenville is that the current residents are able to participate in the economic prosperity that鈥檚 coming.鈥�
