Sierra Leone Education in Entrepreneurial Pedagogy & Skills (SLEEK) Project Launched to Enhance Entrepreneurship Education and Job Creation. United 蜜桃导航 Sierra Leone (UMU-SL) is proud to be an observing partner in the SLEEK Project, an initiative launched under the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) programme. The project is designed to strengthen entrepreneurship education, create quality jobs, and empower youth and women entrepreneurs in Sierra Leone.
Theme and Objectives
The theme of the SLEEK project is听鈥淓nhancing Entrepreneurship Pedagogy for Sustainable Growth and Job Creation.鈥�
Develop a comprehensive entrepreneurship curriculum for Sierra Leonean educators.
Establish an Entrepreneurship Academy to provide cutting-edge training for educators and integrate the business sector into the educational process.
Support youth and women entrepreneurs by enhancing their business skills and promoting employability.
By addressing weaknesses in entrepreneurship education, SLEEK is poised to drive sustainable growth, social cohesion, and innovation within Sierra Leone. The project will contribute to:
Enhancing entrepreneurial education across higher education institutions (HEIs).
Developing a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem
Creating quality jobs, particularly for youth and women
Strengthening partnerships between academia and the business sector.
Through SLEEK, higher education institutions in Sierra Leone will:
- Enhance the quality of entrepreneurship teaching.
- Empower graduates with practical skills for the job market.
- Contribute to achieving the Erasmus+ priorities of inclusion, sustainable growth, and innovation.
- Strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem, ultimately boosting economic growth and reducing unemployment.
